  Accounting Assistant

 

     Objectives of this Role

  • Communicate discrepancies to management team, identify slow-paying customers, and recommend collection candidates

  • Strengthen and grow relationships with clients by communicating with customers regarding past-due accounts

  • Assist in streamlining and improving the accounts receivable process and identifying areas of performance improvement

     Job Responsibilities

  • Maintain accounts receivable records to ensure aging is up to date, credits and collections are applied, uncollected amounts are accounted for, and miscellaneous differences are cleared

  • Perform daily cash management duties, including the recording of bank deposits, updating and distribution of cash receipt logs, and posting of cash to the accounts receivable sub-ledger

  • Monitor and collect accounts receivable by contacting clients via telephone, email, and mail

  • Prepare analytical and ratio analysis in relation to A/R for management to gain a better understanding of how collection efforts are progressing

  • Support other accounting and finance team members, inventory management, and cost accounting

     Skills and Qualifications

  • Understanding basic principles of finance, accounting, and bookkeeping

  • Superb time management and detail

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)

  • Ability to keep company and partner confidences

     Preferred Qualifications

  • An associate degree

  • Strong mathematical skills

  • Prior experience in accounts payable (or accounts receivable)

  • Experience in driving process improvement

 Account Executive: 

     Job Description:
  • Our account executives serve as the vital link between our financial service and clients, managing daily tasks and ensuring customer satisfaction.
     Requirements and Qualifications: 
  • Develop relationships with customers and generate new business.

  • Be responsible in meeting monthly quotas given by Sales Upper Management.

  • Form a sturdy customer base by cold calling, issuing quotes, preparing bids and making formal presentations to prospective customers.

  • Assist the Accounts Receivable Department with tracking payments from customers

Customer Service Coordinator:

Job Details:

  • Understanding of US Customs, CTPAT, 10+2 processes and general compliance.

  • Completely comfortable within all phases of US import ocean/air documentation.

  • Work with customer service team to develop and provide excellent customer service.

  • Handle and process all import documents. Communicate and coordinate with origin offices.

  • Ensure strict compliance Company Policies, FMC rules and regulations.

  • Attention to detail, deadline-oriented, time management, and team player.

  • Good verbal and business writing communication skills. PC literate, word, excel, etc.

  • Fluency in English (mandatory), and second or third language (Spanish, Mandarin) is a plus.

  • Proven ability to communicate effectively with clients and vendors.

  • Full time

Qualifications:

  • BS/BA degree

  • Proven success with 2 years Import customer service experience required.

  • Must be detailed orientated, highly organized and able to multi-task.

  • Must be team player, confident and self-driven.

  • With positive attitude, able to work under pressure and excellent problem-solving skills
